dr singh is planning to cover a full day on a friday at elvaston road. are we part of elvaston surgery yet? it is easier to attend elvaston rather than hollyhurst no, we are proposing to merge on the 1.7.17. patients have a choice as to which surgery they would like to attend. do we have to move surgeries? there will be no change to the level of service which you receive at present but you will have the additional choice to attend elvaston surgery if you wished. will dr drake be working at elvaston? the long-time plan is for dr drake to work at elvaston road as well as hollyhurst but for the time being dr drake will be based at hollyhurst. will there be a big change? can my father still come to hollyhurst? he has dementia and lives in winlaton there will be no change to your fathers care, he will still be seen at hollyhurst but he can also be seen at elvaston road if he wishes. he will still be seen by the gp of his choice. can i still see dr singh and dr drake at hollyhurst? dr singh and dr drake will still be covering at hollyhurst. the long term plan is for dr drake to cover at elvaston also. will there be any changes that will affect the patients? there will be no changes that will affect the patients. the positives are that the patients can be seen at either practice and any services that are not offered at present will be offered i.e. minor surgery at ryton etc. asked if the gp’s would change? at present the gp’s will stay in their own practice apart from dr singh who will be carrying out additional surgeries at elvaston. the long term plan is to offer the patients a choice of all gp’s at either site. the patients asked about when and what would be happening? hollyhurst and elvaston are proposing to merge on 1.7.17. patients can be seen at either site. there will be no change to their service of care. will the surgery still be in winlaton as i have been with you since 1950? yes, hollyhurst will remain at its original site. will the gp’s still visit me at home? yes, there will be no change to the level of care in which you receive now. can i be seen at elvaston? if the proposed merger goes through on the 1.7.17 you can be seen at either site, hollyhurst or elvaston road. i am going to see my mp as i don’t want change i can assure you that nothing will change, you will still see the same staff at the surgery and you can attend elvaston road just as you always have but with the option of attending hollyhurst should you wish to. what will change? can i be seen at hollyhurst even though i live at ryton? what doctors work at ryton? there will be no change to the service you already receive; the care you have always received will remain the same, except you can be seen at either practice, hollyhurst or elvaston road. at present the gp’s working in elvaston road is dr raw and dr singh. are we moving to ryton?
